I stopped assuming, when I lost a course mate , I had her number, we communicated, especially during our service year, we shared jokes about life and other things, at some point I didn't hear from her , I just felt she was busy with work and life, like everyone of us.
The day I saw a picture of her dead on Facebook 🤦😭, I was weak.

I kept saying, I would have reached out, just a call. I felt the guilt for weeks.
Even if we weren't so close in school, I felt I failed her.
I no longer assume, I reach out to friends and collegues monthly .
