I pretty strongly empathize with most of what you said here, and hope you're right on the rest. Save only that folks with greenhouses don't need to worry about frost. That's the point of greenhouses. Also, the Chinese people themselves are the worst victims of the CCP - not the authors of their society, but hapless sufferers of totalitarian propaganda without surcease, and censorship of everything not propaganda.

@mobbs just posted regarding his experiences living in China, which does indicate the truth of the old aphorism 'everything not mandatory is forbidden', at least in terms of propaganda in China.

I don't think we can appreciate the total control of what Chinese civilians are allowed to know, even if we note that censorship and propaganda exist in the West. They are not actually the sum total of what we are allowed, and we can seek and find actual free speech from dissenters.

I don't think that's very possible in China, and that means the civilian population is suffering worse from what you say they are guilty of, because it is imposed on them by Communism.
