Some of ya'll surely remember Gonzalo Lira's arrest, since it was all on video. As a political commentator not native to the Ukraine, and living there during the war in which Ukraine has passed laws censoring media, banning opposition political parties, and suspending elections, Lira had no expectation of any right to free speech being recognized by the Ukraine, but he spoke at will, and often critically of the Ukraine, anyway.
A couple months ago he was arrested for it, and investigated for the crimes allegedly committed of speaking critically of the Ukraine while it was losing a war. He's apparently out on bail, and in a series of three videos uploaded today, describes his legal situation, financial means, and plans to jump bail and get out of the Ukraine.

Personally, I think he's lucky to be alive, particularly given how little the Ukraine seems to care about the lives of it's own people.
Anyway, it's relevant to our interests as free speech advocates and concerned about the consequences of the war that is being funded on American backs.
