Hello, dear hive community! I would like to welcome you to this new post that I have decided to share with you this time.
Today I would like to talk to you about trees and people, because they are not only a great source of oxygen for us, but without them life on the planet would be somewhat different from what we know it, besides trees also enrich our soul and give us tranquility.
Most people, when we are walking in a park, a square or we are in an outdoor place and we observe the trees, we immediately perceive a sense of calm, peace and harmony. We immediately connect with an environment in which we feel at ease and therefore happy. We make a pan of that environment that surrounds us and then our senses are sharpened to such an extent that they allow us to observe in more detail that wooded space and what it conveys. We can see the different shades among the fallen leaves of the trees, the colors of their flowers, their large sizes, the strong roots and the smell they give off throughout the environment.

Trees and their branches create an imaginary world where everything is possible. They transmit serenity and wellbeing, they also offer us shelter with their shade. Trees are part of the essence of life; the contemplation of them, not only leads us to the exaltation of the senses, it also leads us to moments of reflection where we go through the heart and mind those moments that have been significant in our lives. We can say then, that melancholy can also surround us when we are close to them.
La siguiente imagen la tome de bajo de un รกrbol de apamate de mi universidad desde mi celular/ The following image was taken from under an apamate tree at my university from my cell phone.
One of the things that give me pleasure in life is to stand under a tree and photograph its branches. I love to see the refraction of light through its leaves and how the blue of the sky looks. There are people who love to hug them, because it recharges them with good energy and works as a relaxation therapy.
Some time ago I read an article about a professor and researcher in forest ecology, where she said that trees can communicate with each other through their interconnected root systems. Through them vital resources such as water, phosphorus, carbon, etc. are transferred. I believe that just as they can communicate with each other and transfer those resources so important for their maintenance as living beings and contribute to other processes so that other beings can subsist, the communication between trees and people also exists and for me goes beyond the mere fact of exchanging oxygen and CO2, fruits, among other foods that they can provide us.
Trees can produce different effects that are beneficial for our body and mind, for example:
- Stimulate the effectiveness of the immune system.
- They help regulate anxiety and stress, since they lower the levels of stress hormones such as cortisol.
- They reduce the heart rate.
- They decrease the activity of the sympathetic nervous system (excitation) and increase that of the parasympathetic (relaxation).

The answer to this question is yes, without hesitation. Where there are trees there is an atmosphere of wellbeing and happiness, part of the elements that allow our body to experience emotions of satisfaction, calm and complete harmony, which allows us to balance the energy of our mind, body and spirit with our inner self, and with the environment in which we find ourselves.
Something curious is that these little giants are not only found in the reality of our daily life, but they are also immersed in literature. We can find an endless number of writers who have made references in their stories, poems, novels about some of their parts. They enhance through similes or metaphors how rustic they are when touched, the smell that can be displayed in the environment by rubbing their leaves, the beauty of their flowers and the colors with which they dress and decorate the environment, as well as the fruits that they can give us.
Some have also written stories a little dark and gloomy inside a forest, but we can find other works with wise and enchanted trees. The truth is that where there are trees we will find life, an immense universe to explore and to detach ourselves from everything that disturbs us.
A esta fotografรญa la titule textura. De igual forma la he tomado con mi telรฉfono./ I titled this photograph texture. It was also taken with my phone.
Let's take care of them and respect them, since they are a fundamental part of creating a healthy environment. Where there are trees, people are inspired to do activities related to sports, recreation and family sharing. Trees purify the environment, but they also purify our soul.
To finish with this post, I will leave you with a little phrase from a German poet and novelist named Hermann Hesse who says:
