✨¡Buenas tardes, amigos de holozing!✨ Espero estén pasando una excelente semana. Por mi parte, contenta de pasar por acá a compartir una linda idea con ustedes. En esta ocasión les comparto el paso a paso para elaborar un lindo colgante para la puerta, inspirado en la sanadora del océano. Últimamente estoy más inspirada en elaborar a los personajes, pues me parece superlindo hacerlos con cara más redondeada, pero obviamente sin dejar de lado los detalles o colores importantes de los personajes para que no pierdan la esencia ni el contexto de cada uno.

This time, I'm sharing the step-by-step instructions for making a cute door hanger inspired by the ocean healer. Lately, I've been more inspired by making characters, as I think it's super cute to make them with more rounded faces, but obviously without neglecting the important details or colors of the characters so they don't lose their essence or context.

Lo primero que hice fue dibujar en una hoja blanca el diseño que quería para el personaje, que en este caso la quería con los ojos cerrados y una pequeña sonrisa, pues pensé este colgante para la habitación de algún niño; por eso pensé que se vería bien con los ojos así. Además, intenté hacer el traje lo más parecido, junto con las decoraciones que irán en el cabello y una especie de nube o letrero que pensé para la parte baja con un mensaje. Al tener listo el diseño, pasé a los colores correspondientes de foami, como explico a continuación:
✨Cabeza: 4.5 cm x 4.7 cm en foami crema.
✨Cabello: 5.5 cm x 6 cm en foami azul.
✨Franela: 3 cm x 2.5 cm en foami negro.
✨Chaqueta: 3 cm x 1 cm y 3 cm x 1.5 cm en foami blanco.
✨Estrellas de mar: 1 cm en foami amarillo.
✨Concha de mar: 1.5 cm en foami blanco.
✨Cartel: 7.5 cm x 4.5 cm en foami blanco.
The first thing I did was draw the design I wanted for the character on a white sheet of paper. In this case, I wanted her with her eyes closed and a small smile, as I was thinking of making this hanger for a child's room. That's why I thought it would look good with eyes like that. I also tried to make the costume as similar as possible, along with the decorations that will go in the hair and a kind of cloud or sign I thought of for the bottom with a message. Once I had the design ready, I moved on to the corresponding colors of foam, as explained below:
✨Head: 4.5 cm x 4.7 cm in cream foam.
✨Hair: 5.5 cm x 6 cm in blue foam.
✨T-shirt: 3 cm x 2.5 cm in black foam.
✨Jacket: 3 cm x 1 cm and 3 cm x 1.5 cm in white foam.
✨Starfish: 1 cm in yellow foam.
✨Seashell: 1.5 cm in white foam.
✨Sign: 7.5 cm x 4.5 cm in white foam.
Al tener listas las piezas, es momento de dar color a los bordes con pinturas o marcadores. En este caso, utilicé marrón para la cabeza, para el cabello un tono de azul más oscuro, para la chaqueta y cartel un tono de azul más claro y para la franela un blanco en el centro. Al estar secas las piezas, es momento de dar detalles más específicos con marcadores, como ojos, cejas, nariz, boca, para definir un poco más la chaqueta y la concha de mar. En cuanto al letrero, escribí en medio “Dream big” y para el cabello di forma con ayuda de un palillo.
With the pieces ready, it's time to color the edges with paints or markers. In this case, I used brown for the head, a darker shade of blue for the hair, a lighter shade of blue for the jacket and sign, and a white center for the flannel. Once the pieces are dry, it's time to add more specific details with markers, such as eyes, eyebrows, nose, and mouth, to further define the jacket and seashell. For the sign, I wrote "Dream Big" in the middle, and for the hair, I shaped it with a toothpick.
Al estar listo, fue momento de comenzar a pegar el personaje, primero la cabeza junto con el cabello, seguido de la franela junto con la chaqueta y, por último, la concha y las estrellas de mar en el cabello,
Once that was ready, it was time to start gluing the character: first the head and hair, followed by the flannel and jacket, and finally, the shell and starfish in the hair.
Pegué a la sanadora sobre foami escarchado azul y recorté dando forma circular y un poco más abajo, dando a la ropa. Ahora vamos con el diseño del colgante, que en este caso pensé en hacerlo diferente, parecido a un gancho de ropa y no un simple agujero.
I glued the healer onto blue frosted foam and cut out a circular shape, slightly lower, to form the garment. Now we move on to the design of the pendant, which in this case I decided to make different, resembling a clothespin rather than a simple hole.
Seguidamente, di color a los bordes del colgante y, al estar seco, tomé los marcadores y le hice un diseño de puntos en la parte baja o base y, a la parte del gancho, le hice un diseño de líneas, diferente. Al estar todo listo, pegué en medio a la sanadora y, sobre la ropa, pegué el cartel.
Next, I colored the edges of the pendant, and once it was dry, I took the markers and made a dot design on the bottom or base, and on the hook part, I made a different line design. Once everything was ready, I glued the healer in the middle and glued the sign on top of the clothing.
