Starting steemit and eventually becoming a writer have not been a easy task and I know many are witnessing the same am going through, even though am a terrible writer at first and I do write in my best knowledge, in the way I best know how to write, one thing is very sure it will be useful to some and will always be useful up till now. Things that I notice and I know will be useful
Always have something to say
The first and foremost starting point is to always have something to say and write about. Everyday we always have something to say and we do surly let others know about them
It’s as Schopenhauer once observed: there are those who write who have something to say and those who write for the sake of writing.
Even thou there are lot of different between author of classics and us (you and me) all because they always have lot of things to say. An idea they just have to communicate. Machiavelli always have the believe that men should be rule in a certain way. It is written from the soul
Ryan Holiday said the best way to develop a compelling message is to go do interesting things. It shows in the writing of those who have done so.
There is always some experience that shaped every man to the extend that they cant be ignore because it always give them something to say.
Don’t Create, Always Document
You will be thinking why I said this, don’t create, always document. I use to think the other way around until I met some words of Gary Vaynerchuk

Everybody can easily do this by just noticing it with time and putting it in an accessible way to others. Through documentation you learn and develop your taste by learning what is good and what is not. You detect what will work for you and what wont work for you. Observing people for along might make you develop better writing skills of your own and eventually you will have something to say. I know writing is not easy, it never was and it will never be
As Oscar Wilde observed, the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.
Each time you decided to write, you are always leaving behind a bit of your thought for others to judge.
You can begin to start writing immediately, even though it might take years , for you to begin mastering your craft
