Facing the giant wolf boss for multiple times, I used my Immobilize ability and timed my perfect dodges to avoid its high-damage attacks. After healing up with my gourd and freezing the beast in mid-air, I drained the rest of its health bar, and earned praise from the Keeper.
Stepping back into the arena for my fourth attempt against the giant wolf boss, I was determined to drop its health bar past the halfway mark this time. Right as the fight started, I activated my Immobilize spell, freezing the beast in its tracks before it could land a hit.
I rushed in to deal quick damage, but when I tried to dodge its follow-up strike, I still took a solid hit.
Moments later, the wolf grabbed me, launched us both high into the air, and slammed me down to the ground. It was an awesome view from up there, but the massive damage ended up taking me down completely.
Respawning and running right back into the fight, I was ready for its aggressive opening move.
As the wolf lunged forward, I hit a perfect dodge at the exact right second, leaving behind a glowing clone of myself as I slipped out of harm's way.
With the boss recovering from its missed attack, I cast Immobilize again, locking the beast in place so I could land a series of heavy hits while it was stunned.
There, I tried to show how the destined one clones himself when I try perfect dodges. It was one of those times and I captured the moment by opening up the photo mode at the perfect time.
Then I took a sip from the gourd to recover my health as I noticed my health bar was draining down.
When the boss backed off and tried to pounce on me from above, I hit my spell right as it jumped, leaving the wolf frozen floating up in mid-air. I couldn't reach it up high to land any hits, but freezing its big attack saved me from taking major damage.
Realizing I was getting the upper hand, the giant wolf leaped up onto the roof of a nearby building. I knew it was preparing a massive diving attack, so I watched its movement closely.
It leaped off the roof, and though its landing caught me with a bit of splash damage, I drank a quick sip from my gourd to patch up my health.
With my Immobilize ability cooled down, I froze the wolf one last time right as it charged, poured on my strongest attacks, and finally brought the beast down.
Hearing the battle end, the old Keeper chimed in with a chuckle, admitting I had surprised him and telling me to look around the arena for my well-deserved reward.
