Playing as Sun Wukong, I confronted a massive celestial army led by Erlang Shen above Mount Huaguo. Refusing Erlang's demand to submit, I engaged in an epic divine duel. Realizing he could not easily win, Erlang targeted the mountain, forcing Wukong to transform and intercept him in mid-air.
The intro opened with the legendary Monkey King flying on a cloud toward a massive army of divine giants waiting out in the open sky, establishing an incredible, cinematic scale right away.
Upon landing on a floating cloud platform, it became clear that it was not just the giants, thousands of celestial soldiers were arrayed in full battle formation, ready for war against a single warrior.
Wukong proclaimed that he only wanted a peaceful life on his mountain away from celestial politics, but Erlang Shen, the Sacred Divinity, descended to confront him directly.
Erlang floated down and arrogantly commanded Wukong to drop to his knees and submit to the Heavens, which only elicited a loud, mocking laugh from the Monkey King.
Proving he was no ordinary beast but a powerful Buddha of merits, Wukong drew his staff and engaged Erlang in a high class duel, trading heavy martial blows and energy strikes across the sky while I was the one controlling him in the battle.
After a prolonged battle where I depleted Erlang's health bar, the merit began unleashing desperate tricks and mystical divine abilities, which showcased the unbelievable magical powers both combatants possessed.
Realizing he could not defeat Wukong in direct combat, Erlang shifted his focus, using his sacred weapon to slash toward Mount Huaguo below, which made the home Wukong was deeply bound to protect.
To save his home and his kin, Wukong transformed into a swift bird and darted down toward the mountain. Erlang pursued him relentlessly, resulting in a devastating mid-air collision that sent both figures crashing into the mountain peak.
