Conocí Hive gracias a mis compañeros de Emprende Vnzla y más que solo enseñármela he aprendido mucho de ellos y a la vez los he conocido mucho más.

• I heard about HIVE thanks to my colleagues from Emprende Vnzla and more than just teaching it to me I have learned a lot from them and at the same time I have known them much more.

Mi nombre es Jorge Uzcategui (uzzca me llamaban en la escuela secundaria) Soy de Venezuela (no juzguen nuestras arepas), específicamente de Maracaibo (y tampoco el patacón), tengo 24 años y en realidad solo tuve un par de trabajos formales, siendo el último del que más me he beneficiado en conocimiento, era un operador de servicio al cliente y ahí me di cuenta de cuánto me gustaba el arte y el diseño.

• My name is Jorge Uzcategui (uzzca called me in high school) I am from Venezuela, specifically from Maracaibo, I am 24 years old and actually I only had a couple of formal jobs, being the last one from which I have benefited the most in knowledge, i was a customer service operator and there I realized how much I liked art and design.

Irónicamente, estoy estudiando ingeniería de sistemas, si no fuera por el coronavirus, estaba en mi último semestre que comencé en 2013.

• Ironically, I'm studying systems engineering, if it wasn't for the coronavirus, it was in my last semester that I started in 2013.
  

Comencé a diseñar primero como un hobbie, me gustaba más allá de si era bueno o malo, luego empecé a estudiar de lleno en internet y considero que he mejorado bastante, entonces empecé a promocionarme con mis amigos y familiares como artista (pues así me sentía).

• I started designing first as a hobby, I liked it beyond whether it was good or bad, then I started to study fully on the internet and I consider that I have improved a lot, so I started promoting myself with my friends and family as an artist (well, that's how I felt ).

Así llegue a conocer a bastantes personas del medio y aprendí mas de ellas pues de eso se trata la vida, de rodearse de los que son mejores que tú para que aprendas de ellos y un día alguien quiera rodearse de ti por lo bueno que eres en lo que te gusta.

• So I got to know quite a few people from the environment and learned more from them because that's what life is about, to surround yourself with those who are better than you so that you learn from them and one day someone wants to surround you because of how good you are in what you like.

Se dieron mis primeros trabajos como artista desde invitaciones a cumpleaños, tarjetas de presentación, tarjetas de bautizos, ilustraciones, logos, hasta que llegue hacer toda la publicidad de un pequeño supermercado local. Aunque no es mi fuerte he empezado a dibujar a mano (old School) para probar cosas que de verdad nunca había hecho.
Por ahora estoy tratando de expandir mis conocimientos con restauración fotográfica y estoy aprendiendo a dibujar con Medibang Paint y pronto les enseñare algo de lo que estoy haciendo.

• My first jobs as an artist were given, from birthday invitations, business cards, baptism cards, illustrations, logos, until I got to do all the advertising for a small local supermarket. Although it is not my forte, I started to draw by hand (old school) to try things that I had never really done.
  For now I am trying to expand my knowledge with photographic restoration and I am learning to draw with Medibang Paint and I will show you soon something of what I am doing.

Soy amante del rock-metal, como lo quieras llamar, soy muy fan de bandas como Catupecu machu, The white stripes, air supply, Lamb of God, Cradle of Filth (arroz con mango).

• I'm a rock-metal lover, whatever you want to call it, I'm a big fan of bands like Catupecu machu, The white stripes, air supply, Lamb of God, Cradle of Filth (rice with mango).

Algo que también debo comentar es una persona que más que artista, para mi es arte, mi novia ha sido alguien que ya desde hace casi un año me ha acompañado y ha estado para mí y me ha apoyado en todo lo que he intentado hacer, alguien a quien le debo mucho y que quizás nunca le pueda pagar.

• Something that I must also comment is a person who, more than an artist, is art to me, my girlfriend has been someone who has accompanied me for almost a year and has been for me and has supported me in everything I have tried to do, Someone to whom I owe a lot and who may never be able to pay.

Tengo grandes expectativas de esta comunidad así que daré mi mejor esfuerzo por aportar cuanto me sea posible y aprender tanto como pueda de ustedes.
