El día de hoy me dispuse a hacer una pequeña pero atractiva animación al logo de nuestra querida comunidad GEMS, en forma de incentivo y agradecimiento por muchas cosas que nos ha brindado.
Today I set out to make a small but attractive animation to the logo of our beloved GEMS community, in the form of incentive and thanks for many things they have given us.
No les voy a mentir, use un método poco ortodoxo para hacer esto pues aún estoy aprendiendo y la animación es algo nuevo para mí, pero lo importante son las ganas y de esas hay de sobra.
I'm not going to lie to you, I used an unorthodox method to do this because I'm still learning and animation is something new to me, but the important thing is the desire and I have plenty of that.
Lo primero fue hacer que el logo fuera manipulable, para poder trabajar con el de forma más cómoda. Para eso use illustrator para separar colores y formas. Luego que tenía el logo listo me fui a photoshop, donde ocurre la magia.
The first thing was to make the logo manipulable, to be able to work with it in a more comfortable way. I used illustrator to separate colors and shapes. After I had the logo ready I went to photoshop, where the magic happens.
Como pueden ver, esta es la parte por la que les dije que fue poco ortodoxo, hice frame por frame de forma separada, fueron un total de 121 frames para poder hacer esta animación.
As you can see, this is the part where I told you it was unorthodox, I did frame by frame separately, it was a total of 121 frames to be able to do this animation.
Esta es la parte en la que hice la animación como tal, utilizando las secuencias de comandos de Photoshop
This is the part where I did the animation as such, using Photoshop scripts.
Como pueden ver el proceso de hacer una animación con photoshop no es tan engorroso si ya tienes los frames. Lo siguiente es el Time Line, es la parte en la que te encargas de dar los tiempos de ejecución de cada frame.
As you can see the process of making an animation with photoshop is not so cumbersome if you already have the frames. Next is the Time Line, it's the part where you give the execution times of each frame.
Y ya luego que hemos aplicado los tiempos correspondientes a cada frame ya solo nos queda exportarla, este tipo de animación pueden exportarse como GIF o como MP4.
And after we have applied the corresponding times to each frame we only have to export it, this type of animation can be exported as GIF or as MP4.
