The LeoThreads Evolution

Barely few days after the novel web3 based microblogging alternative to Twitter launched open alpha on Hive blockchain, there has been some tangible depths of synergy by all who understand it's potentials to stimulate more usage and engagement on LeoThreads.

The initial idea of LeoThreads was just another app in the LeoFinance community but over two years, it metamorphosed into the "everything app" postulated by Elon Musk. After it's launch, it is very glaring that LeoThreads named ProjectBlank has become a home for every Hive user irrespective of community, content niche and interest.

LeoThread is now a web3 microblogging app that accepts all form and niche of contents and a hub for high engagement for both content creators and consumers. Any user of LeoThreads can now post short texts, short videos, gifs, memes, graphics, pictures covering any subject.

Interestingly, niche community influencers have started motivating their members to start threading their posts on threads. We now have #flowers pushed by @shortsegments and #hivegardens with curation initiatives on LeoThreads. This is really encouraging as all hive communities get to converge on Threads to spice up their engagements.

Just yesterday while I noticed from @taskmaster4450le that 24-hour threads engagement is approaching 3,000 daily, I did my best to contribute my threads to add up to the numbers.

POSH on LeoThreads

After sharing one of my hive post (with the Leofinance link) on threads, I received the reply below from @poshthreads and it followed the format of comments from @poshtoken when we share hive post links on Twitter. That meant that POSH that has been running smoothly on Twitter to incentivise Hive users who share their hive post on Twitter has now found a replication on LeoThreads. Cool!

Reading this post from @taskmaster4450le further confirmed that POSH is now a feature on LeoThreads.

POSH, short for Proof of Sharing was conceptualized by @acidyo years ago and has been awesome motivation for hive users to market hive post links on Twitter. I've personally earned tonnes of $POSH token since it's inception and how cool that we can now also earn POSH for threading. This development is a clear indication of the massive acceptance and adoption of #LeoThreads by the Hive community in generally not just as another Hive dapp but as web3 based Twitter.

@Hivetrending and @Acidyo in their separate threads have talked about PoshThreads. It's very soothing to see this massive unifying force to push the ProjectBlank idea into a full blown web3 based microblogging movement and the results is going to be massive for the Hive blockchain in general.

I am personally anticipating more layered developments on LeoThreads in the coming days, weeks, months and the goal of reaching 5k daily users by the end of the year could be easily achieved for the benefit of all Hive user and the $Leo token holders.
