Rock Classics Edition 13 with Mr. Mister
A band that started out officially being blamed not to be a rock band but a studio band only – rubbish – they are awesome. Toto had to fight similar prejudices! These guys are awesome. I remember exactly the day I bough their first record as vinyl. The entire album is perfect – ok a pro for studio band – but they were able to play live! Mr. Mister was a US pop rock project existing from 1982-1990 – band leader and lead singer was Richard Page. Page was offered several other band jobs in the 80ies like to replace Bobby Kimball as lead singer of Toto as well as to take over Peter Cetera's place in Chicago – both offers he refused. Unfortunately the band broke up in 1990.
