...but - hitting a new Number is quite frankly exciting - especially the potential jump towards Reputation 74 here on the Steem Blockhain or shall I say on Steemit is special - simply as it will be the last one I am sure. The higher you rise in the ranking the tougher it becomes. Since it is possible to buy your rank via bid bots it is nothing extra-ordinary anymore - however I still see it as a kind of acceptance for hard work and persistence. I admit I used botssometimes in my way here but not that often since over a year.
I remember a nice competition here as we had ranking tables on Steemwhales and other tools - these seem gone - so I have no idea where I am at in the overall rankings but numbers are fun, humans love league tables to measure and to feel good or motivated to become better - no matter what their rank actually means in terms of value for a community.
