Bitcoin charged up to $5800 this week and is now sitting at $5550. That is $1000 dollars a coin higher than last Sunday. Jiminy Crickets! This thing is a freight train!
The two things I think that are driving the price are:
1) Rumors of China allowing licensed exchanges to operate after the end of October.
2) Bitcoin getting tantalizingly close to getting futures contacts traded in Chicago. Once that happens, vehicles can be created to allow a very large stream of Wallstreet money into the space.
Hang on to your hats people, this could get crazy!
