Hi great hivians, trust we are doing great.
We live in a generation were meritocracy has been trivialized. People do not work for merit anymore.
I teach in a primary and secondary school and I encouraged the students to study hard in that any of them who will come out best will be rewarded financially.
True to my promise, I fulfilled my promise at the begining of the new term. Two of my students came out successful. One, which was a girl took the overall first position. While the boy in the picture above was the best in mathematics...
This really encouraged other students to seat up and study hard to make some good and better grade results also.
If this could be replicated in most schools, the very young folks will see education as a very powerful tool.
