Mi primer origami, por así decirlo, y cuando lo vi y me enamoré, acompáñame a un paso a paso de este origami con temática de Pokémon, donde voy a realizar este Pokémon conocido como Mimikyu, que por cierto es uno de mis favoritos de todos los tipos fantasmas.
También les dejaré el tutorial del cual me guíe, porque no pude grabar el proceso y en fotos no es muy claro seguir las instrucciones de todos los pliegues de esta manualidad tan divertida, así que para que te atrevas a realizar cualquier origami del catálogo, te dejo el video.
Mimikyu es conocido por su apariencia solitaria y su deseo de ser amado como lo es Pikachu, este se esconde bajo un disfraz improvisado, que intenta emular la apariencia de Pikachu, también la información sobre Mimikyu suele centrarse en su trasfondo melancólico y los misterios que rodean su verdadera forma debido a su habilidad Disfraz, adopta la apariencia de Pikachu para ser más amigable. Esta dualidad entre su deseo de conexión y su verdadera identidad lo convierte en uno de mis Pokémon favoritos.
Vamos a realizar, como ya es costumbre, algo sencillo y decorativo con materiales muy fáciles de conseguir. Aparte, hay que conseguir referencias del personaje para tener una idea visual de cuál queremos que sea el resultado y, ya con eso, vamos a utilizar los siguientes materiales:
- Hojas blancas o cartulinas (amarillas y marrron)
- Pega blanca
- Marcador de color negro
En mi caso voy a utilizar un papel cebolla doblado en varias capas porque no poseo cartulina color amarillo y como quería hacer este origami, decidí hacerlo más como estilo práctica para adentrarme poco a poco a este mundo en el cual necesitaremos mucha paciencia.
Para empezar, vamos a cortar tres cuadros de distintas dimensiones, una de 15x15 cm, la otra de 7.5 x7.5 cm y la última de 7.5 x 7.5 cm
Estas serán las medidas para la sección de la cabeza, cuerpo y la cola, el tamaño es indiferente, pero guiándome por el video tutorial esas son las medidas.
Paso 1 cabeza
Comenzamos haciendo el primero de muchos pliegues por la mitad, en donde, por cierto, la cartulina es más estable que el material que estoy utilizando.
Hay que hacer varios pliegues, también pueden seguir el video que dejé arriba para que vean cómo hacer cada pliegue de una forma más práctica. Yo acá les dejo algunos de los pasos que, reflexionando un poco, el origami sería como la práctica de la calma mental de las personas.
Cortar el diseño de este Mimikyu es más fácil de hacer que dibujar, pero el paso a paso de un origami esconde una enseñanza de disciplina y constancia que desarrolla la determinación.
Como pueden ver, después de muchos pliegues ya tenemos nuestro primer objetivo concluido, ahora es momento de ir al siguiente paso.
Paso 2 cuerpo
Para el cuerpo vamos a utilizar el otro cuadro de cartulina amarilla para realizarlo, de 7.5 x 7.5 cm, cabe destacar que hay figuras de origami que tienen una estructura o base donde se sostienen de pie, pero en este caso es un diseño plano.
Acá son menos pasos porque es una forma triangular para el cuerpo.
Paso 3 cola
Para el paso de la cola, la cual es una rama que sostiene el Pokémon, vamos a utilizar el marrón, yo no tenía papel de ese color, así que tome uno blanco y lo pinte con marcador.
Paso 4 detalles
Y para finalizar, vamos a realizarle el diseño del Pokémon, que es su intento de emular a un Pikachu y el cual es dibujado por el mismo Pokémon que se esconde debajo del traje y este es con unos trazos muy erráticos.

In my case, I'm going to use onionskin paper folded in several layers because I don't have any yellow cardstock. Since I wanted to make this origami, I decided to do it more as a practice style to gradually delve into this world, which will require a lot of patience.

For the tail step, which is the branch that holds the Pokémon, we're going to use brown paper. I didn't have any paper that color, so I took white paper and colored it in with a marker.

And finally, we'll design the Pokémon, which is its attempt to emulate Pikachu. It's drawn by the Pokémon itself, hidden under the suit, with very erratic strokes.
