Our solar system formed 4.57 billion years ago. Since then, our Sun has been shining somewhere on the edge of the Milky Way galaxy. And our Sun will shine for about the same number of years.
Today I continue to read articles about space. It is interesting to me that in our galaxy, in addition to the Sun, there are about 300 billion more stars. And we see hundreds of billions of such galaxies through telescopes. Just think how big our universe is.
And here is our little planet, spinning around our small star for 4.5 billion years. A lot has happened over the years. Life originated on our planet a long time ago. But life was able to go beyond the planet Earth (into outer space) quite recently, in the 20th century. Perhaps in the 21st century humanity will still live on the Moon and Mars. Our civilization is very young. I hope we have thousands and millions of years of development ahead of us.
I am alive and I know a lot, thanks to those people who lived before me. In this blog, I will look into history and write about interesting facts in the development of our civilization.
