Saludos amigos amantes de los grafitis y toda expresión urbana, nuevamente participo en esta dinámica explosiva de arte callejera, hoy les comparto una obra increíble, lleno de misticismo, historia, arte y sobre todo representatividad urbana, esta obra para mí sale de ciertos límites y entra en otros mucho más profundos e imaginarios, así que espero que le agrade mi pequeño aporte a este maravilloso espacio.

Joan Sebastián Montoya (El Donchi) es el artista encargado de esta maravillosa obra, que realizo en el 2017, en un festival de grafitis Pictopia 2017. No estoy segura si lo titula CHANGO, pero sin duda es muy alusivo en la obra, lo cierto que esta clase de manifestaciones religiosas o de creencia popular no es muy frecuente en esta parte del país andino, donde reina es las Mariologías y una larga lista de figuras católicas, me gusta encontrarme este tipo de obras porque me hacen entender mejor en que sociedad viva, y lo que puedo esperar de ella, así que esta adoración a Chango (Rey de los truenos, los rayos, la justicia, la danza y el fuego, su origen es africano) me gusta, y me hace entender la pluridad de esta sociedad, que aún lleva consigo muy arraigadas las creencias que para muchos son profanas y peligrosas, resalto el trabajo del artista, llena de colores, alabanzas, crudeza, carácter, misticismo y sobre todo es imponente, te lleva a creer más allá de los santos y las iglesias, así arropando a otras sociedades un poco menos dogmáticas. Las frutas, el puma, las coronas representan abundancia, fuerza, liderazgo y poder, creo que es una obra magnífica, y le da a sus adeptos mucha esperanza en que Chango aún vive.

Joan Sebastián Montoya (El Donchi) is the artist in charge of this wonderful work, which he did in 2017, at a Pictopia 2017 graffiti festival. I'm not sure if he titled it CHANGO, but it is certainly very allusive in the work, which is true that this kind of religious manifestations or popular belief is not very frequent in this part of the Andean country, where Mariologies and a long list of Catholic figures reign supreme, I like to find these types of works because they make me better understand what society I live in , and what I can expect from her, so this adoration of Chango (King of thunder, lightning, justice, dance and fire, his origin is African) I like, and it makes me understand the plurality of this society , which still carries deep-rooted beliefs that for many are profane and dangerous, I highlight the artist's work, full of colors, praises, crudeness, character, mysticism and above all it is impressive, it leads you to believe beyond the saints and the churches, thus sheltering other societies a little less dogmatic. The fruits, the puma, the crowns represent abundance, strength, leadership and power, I think it is a magnificent work, and it gives his followers a lot of hope that Chango is still alive.
