I'm new here. This is just my second day on https://steemit.com I came here because I randomly saw a YouTube video recommending https://dtube.video/ (video site alternative to YouTube). I have been a critic of YouTube and Facebook censorship for years. Hopefully this new platform works out.
Anyway, my question concerns "Estimated Account Value". What does that mean? As of August 27, 2017 my account is worth $0.68
I don't see an option to transfer that money to either cryptocurrency Steem (if that is the correct name), bitcoin, transfer it to another user or transfer it to my bank account.
Where does the value come from? Why is my account worth $0.68?
