My 1st Hive Anniversary!

23rd June 2023 was the day when I took my first step into this Hive world.
In the few years before that, after Covid, to be honest, I was going through a bit of depression and one of the many reasons for that was that I started feeling as if I was not doing anything in my life. Although I was into trading professionally. Initially, it felt great to have so much free time after spending very few hours in day trading. But then that free time started scaring me. I also joined some classes but that also did not work because instead of just keeping myself busy, I wanted to do something which would relate to my profession and at the same time I could make something from it without any fixed job like burden.

Then one day my elder brother @dev.maverick told me about this platform while telling me about one of his friends (@alokkumar121) who has been here for a long time. Now success stories in any field always attract you in that direction by making you excited and positive and if that success story is of someone close to you, then you comparatively trust it more. This is exactly what happened to me and since this platform was related to my trading profession, I was excited and positive about it.

After roughly 1 month of stepping here, I started talking directly to Alok bhai. Since Crypto was a completely new subject for me, it was not easy to understand this platform, but Alok Bhai literally explained every little thing to me in a very layman's language and has played a big and important role in starting and continuing this journey till now.

About 6 months ago I met @melinda010100 here and she saw something in me that people often don't pay attention to. After 1 or 2 months, I became a guest curator at @Ecency and this responsibility has really taught and given me a lot in these months. Melinda also supported me at every step like a great and true friend. Be it a matter of understanding this platform closely or staying motivated here. Just a few days ago, she not only explained something to me but also demonstrated it with a live example. However, this was not the first time she had done something like this and I am sure @alokkumar121 and @melinda010100 both are equally kind and helpful to everyone in their real lives as well.

Apart from this, @hivebuzz also commented on my blogs on every small achievement and told me to look, man, don't be disappointed, you are doing well just keep doing it.

So, I would like to thank my elder brother who told me about this platform as well as Alok and Melinda for becoming my guide and guru in this journey so far and I hope that I will continue to get the same guidance from them in future as well, Because no matter how far I move ahead, both of them will always be ahead of me and I am completely happy and proud of this. 😊🙏

Now let's talk about my hive journey and future expectations in brief.

After creating my account on June 23, 2023, this Believe in yourself and all that you are! was my first blog the next day on which I got a total reward of $0.07.

Below is a screenshot of one month after I came here, where you can see the earnings of 8.5 HP in 1 Month. As of today, I earn approximately this much in a day.

This screenshot is from 6 months later and Currently, it takes me about 1 month to earn the total account value shown in it.

And in this screenshot you can see the result of my hard work for 9 months, an almost equal amount of which I have earned in the next 3 months i.e. till now.

The only reason for comparing my present with 3 different screenshots of the past is to make you understand the importance of commitment and consistency. However, for the first 6 to 7 months, I used to write only 2 to 3 blogs a week and was very less active here.

Although @alokkumar121 Bhai had told me not once but many times to keep my eyes straight ahead like a racehorse. Do your best, have patience and don't look back every day. Consistency Matters A Lot!

And, my dear @melinda010100 taught me the importance of having actual conversations with other users and making true friends apart from creating good content here.

If we look closely, we have to understand and follow only these things in our life also. Do your best, have patience, don't look back every day and make true friends and relationships. The focus should be on enjoying the process and earning true friends more than earning money.

This is what I have learned so far, both here and in my life!

How is everything going on here now?

Well, slow and steady, I somehow reached 8 to 9 USD per blog but it's been about a month and a half and I have come down from 8 to 5 and now from 5 to 3 USD. I don't know what went wrong, maybe it's just like the ups and downs of any business. I just have to stay focused on those 2 most important lessons and that's why these days I don't even go to check the rewards after posting a blog. Because then if the rewards are not as per your expectations you feel sad and that sadness can make you negative and deviate you from your goal and consistency. But overall it is going quite well and I am really enjoying this journey.

Where do I stand now?

Out of these two, one of my Gurus had reached 1500 HP in his first year here, so I also had the same as my target. Fortunately, I have come very close to it with 100% power up and I am satisfied with it because, in the beginning, I did not even think of achieving half of it.

Where do I have to go?

There is no ultimate target because it is an endless journey but yes I have given myself a big target for the next one year. This target may be a little more than the growth of both my gurus in their second year, but I have thought that by June 23, 2025, I will take my account value to 11000 HP or more.

And how will I achieve this?

Well, This #Hive world is still unaware of my two superpowers. Just kidding! :D My wife thinks that I cook delicious food, so I have a plan for blogging related to that. I hope that the Big Whales/Curators in those communities will see my efforts and they will start appreciating me. The plan is not to get 200-300 USD on any one blog in a month but to get 25-30 USD consistently on every blog. The target for the next year will be achieved with this.
And I don't think expecting a reward of 25-30 USD is too much, it just remains to be seen when I reach there. 😎

This journey so far has been really amazing and hopefully, it will be even more beautiful in the future and I will be able to achieve all my goals.
