Well, I am not a wildlife photographer nor have any special interest in it. I just love taking pictures of all the different and beautiful things around us.
Like yesterday morning I saw this butterfly on my potato plant pot. I saw this guest here for the first time. Usually, butterflies do not come to my garden or if they do, I have not seen them. And that too of my favourite yellow colour, so obviously seeing this butterfly I was surprised and along with it I also became hopeful to welcome more colourful butterflies in the future. 馃
And as you can see in the picture below, it was not easy to find it there, because from one side its shape looks like a common leaf and its colour too is somewhat like that of a yellow leaf.
This is a closeup shot of this butterfly and I could not take a better picture of this butterfly with my phone camera. Actually, I wanted to take such a picture in which this butterfly had spread both its wings, but it sat at one place so firmly that it did not fly from there, so I had to fly and leave it.
Well, it is strange that this butterfly is known as a common emigrant. Seriously? Is this even a name? I got this information after asking Google Lens and according to it, in some places, it is also called as lemon emigrant. But there is a reason behind these names and that is that migration is the habit of this butterfly. It does not stay anywhere and keeps migrating from one place to another.
When I focused on this butterfly from the other side to take the above picture, it seemed as if it stopped its work for a minute and started looking at me. :D
