Tonight my almost 11 year old swam 100 metres and was able to stay afloat for 5 minutes.
He's never had a swimming lessons because he's never wanted instruction!
He passed his Sea Scouts swimming level 2 which means he is deemed competant enough to safely take part in the summer sailing programme. He is so thrilled.
I am so proud of him.
But not as proud as he is of himself. Cannot ask for more than that.
