Bzzz!
Upon entering the room today, I observed my cat luxuriating in the warmth of the spring sun. The curtains behind her were drawn, accentuating her presence against the dark backdrop.
I am aware that numerous individuals harbor an aversion towards hairless felines, however, I would like to highlight in their defense that they are incredibly warm and pleasant to the touch. These cats are also highly sociable and playful, becoming very attached to their owners.
Nevertheless, there are some drawbacks. Hairless cats tend to get quite chilly in the winter season. If a kitten has not been habituated to wearing a woolen sweater from a young age, it may experience discomfort in the winter.
Our cat dislikes being dressed up, therefore, she spends her winter either under a blanket or close to heating appliances. She gets very anxious if we touch her with cold hands.
She enjoys taking walks outside, and occasionally hunts and nibbles on small birds or mice. The absence of whiskers does not hinder her coordination, however, the lack of fur does negatively impact the level of protection for her body. Any scratches from turf fights on a hairless cat tend to penetrate deeper and last longer.
Undoubtedly, our hairless cat is a cherished member of our family, but this animal is not suited for survival in the wild.
