Finally after 29 days of waiting, my bittrex account got verified. At some point, I thought the exchange had gone the way of Mt. Gox, Cryptsy, and so many others. But instead I think they were simply understaffed and unprepared to handle the influx of demand. I created the account so that I could cash out my BTG. The mistake I made was not confirming that the account was fully verified before sending anything into the account. Goes to show that exchanges these days still cannot be trusted, so be careful out there... They remain unregulated.
