I recently moved into my new home where I had to start all over again. The previous resident left all his old furniture for me to give me a new start.
For which I am very grateful.
My youngest daughter (9) had some issues with getting adjusted to our new space and she kept saying it did not feel like home.
Then my beloved sister came along and decided to give me a hand with making our new space feeling more like home.
She started with painting over my old furniture and the results are amazing.
The old furniture looks like new and my daughter is so happy “It finally feels like home” was her reaction to it.
So daughter happy makes mommie happy 😃

We used chalk paint. First we did a layer with a light color and then did a darker layer on top and rubbed over it slightly with some old piece of fabric for creating the old look.

I will share the before and after pictures.

We started with painting the build in closet
