Rhodes Trip - Tsambika Beach
Probably the most famous and the best beach on Rhodes island is Tsambika Beach. It is situated in the municiaplity of Archaggelos and has taken the name after Virgin Mary Tsambika. The beach is beautiful with very fine sand, well organised with changing rooms, sunbeds and restaurants . Crystal clear water and a beautiful surrounding. Undoubtedly Agathi and Tsambika are the two best beaches on the island.
Being surrounded by mountains while swimming in the sea is an extraordinary experience. The perfect place to be when its hot although its a bit crowded there. After the beach we went to the monastery nearby. The ride on its own was another experience, with a gravel path we rode by moped the steep way up. It was the steepest street we've ever been driving on. At the monastery we had a great view of the beach, as you can see on these pictures. Definitely worth to go there!
