I sure can't complain ever about being able to explore islands out on a river trip, I love them.
These islands along the river gave a bunch of possible camping spots, and although I had not floated this section before, it was easy to tell on google maps, there were several good island options.
And they presented quite a great view as well as camping spots.
I'm a hammock camper, so my only real requirement is some decent sized trees to hang from. Aside from that, any extras like grassy spots, rocks for firepits and nearby water, is all bonus.
All those extras were here on this spot.
Gotta love Island life!!!
