As a new user I don't know how. I did buy some hive from Hotbit, but they won't let me transfer the hive out of hotbit. Even getting to that point required proving my identity with an exchange, buying eth, setting up a wallet, moving the eth to my wallet moving the eth again to hotbit, then purchasing hive. I could buy hive somewhere else, but I don't know who to trust, and I am hesitant to waste more money. I think other new hive users will not do all of this.
