Steemit is about sharing and helping one another so I want to share my friend's story, I turned off the upvote as I don't want anything for myself outta this. I graduated High School with this girl and her husband is a great guy and upstanding citizen in our little hometown, and they need help. Sadly more that what they will get from our little area. Please consider donating to their go fund me page linked at the bottom. Even it it's only $5 or $10 it will help this family out. Thank you and God Bless!
Here is their story
In 2003 my husband was a active Boilermaker in local #374. He fell and broke his back on a job. Doctors dismissed him to return to work but since his accident he has suffered from back issues. In 2012 he had to walk away from his well paying career in the Biolermakers. Matt has always worked lots of hours in the union and very rarely took time off. If work was slow he traveled to where the work was to provide for our family. Often working out of town for weeks and even months at a time to support his wife and children. Matt has worked more hours in the time he was in the union than most retirees put in during their life time. Hard times have falling upon our family and I'm asking for help to put food on our table and to cloth our children and to keep from not loosing our home and the things he has worked so hard for in the past. We have had to sell many things just to get by day to day. He has since been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, neuropathy, facet joint arthitis along with heart PVC's and extreame migraines and on top of all that has recently experienced unexplained stomach issue resulting in unexplained weight loss and has drop 25 pounds in the past couple months that doctors don't seem to have a defenate answer for.
This has taken a very difficult toll on our family of 4. We have 2 teenagers still living at home and trying to raise a family on very little income due to my husband not being able to work.
All money raised will go toward bills that have piled up such as property taxes, medical bills, food and clothing for our family. We have had to rely on family and a few friends to help us get by but they have exhausted all their abilities to do so to help.
I know many of you may wonder why I have not been able to help but back in 09- 2010 I myself was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and it's a constant battle for myself. It has taken a lot to swallow my pride to open this account for help for my family. I pray that you will understand our circumstances and any dollar amount wound be appreciated. God Bless! #chronicillnessworrior
