The first biblical reference of Nimrod is in the Table of Nations, he is depicted as the son of Cush, grandson of Ham and great grandson of Noah. He's a "mighty hunter before thy lord" according to the first book of Chronicles 1:10. Nimrod's Kingdom interpolated the cities of Babel, Erech, Accad, and perhaps Calneh, in Shinar.
