A view from a large flat-ish plateau between the mountains of Dobrogea. Though now they're more like hills, in terms of height, at their apogee, a few million years ago, they were almost as tall as the Alps. They are also very old, Hercynian orogeny, having risen from the Devonian era seas. That's around 400 million years ago.
