On my way back I couldn鈥檛 help but pop back through Glastonbury again. I really felt drawn to get something from the bookshop there. I wasn鈥檛 even sure exactly what just that there was something I should get. There is so much there that I really had no idea where to even start. I ended up getting this one, which is a super in depth study of the tarot mixed with hermetic teachings. It鈥檚 defo a heavy going type book with lots of details.
These were some of the others I was pretty torn between:
Glastonbury is so beautiful at night although again it鈥檚 shortage of cafes means there is nowhere to warm up before a climb up the tor unless you want to go to a bar.
I did a climb up the tor which, felt really stupid and dangerous but I just felt before my journey back to London I should check it out again and take in the energy. I spent the whole walk up not scared of falling over or nature but a guy hiding in the bushes 馃ぃ I almost ran up! It was only 6:30 pm but in Uk it鈥檚 pitch black by then.
When I got Up there it鈥檚 the most beautiful I have ever seen. The sky was full of stars and the tor almost glowed: my biggest regret is not having a camera and tripod to capture it. This was the only shot I got! The others just came out pitch black.
When I got up there the wind was so intense, even though it was totally calm below it was like a storm up there. I saw a small group of people chanting and singing and doing some kind of ritual. There is always something going on up there. I was happy for seeing some other people. I鈥檓 sure they were doing something powerful because as soon as I started to walk back down the intense winds died down completely.
