Glastonbury is absolutely stunning this year. I have to be honest it’s not been the same since covid. Everytime I call in everything seems to close earlier and earlier. Sometimes the cafes seem to be closing up at 2-3 these days which, cuts out a massive hole if you want to grab a drink or something to eat in the afternoon prior to a nighttime tor climb. My old favourite the exaliber is gone completely and didn’t seem to make it out of all the lockdowns. I hope one day the cafes go back to staying open later or some new ones pop up over the next year.
But aside from that they really outdid themselves on the decorations this year. The beautiful window displays are always beautiful but they really went to some thought this year and maybe the best I’ve seen.
They had some beautiful displays in star child made from herbs and spices made into art
I love this new shop I spotted on the high street it’s full of anything a practising witch would need from different teas and herbs to scent free beeswax candles on all colours for spells and rituals. They also had a wish tree so of course I had to make one but if I told you then that would ruin it.
I was drawn to buy scents I ended up getting about 5 from different places I might share a bit on another post about how to use them and what each scent represents and helps with.
I really wanted something from the bookshop but there was just too much h to choose and nothing jumped out.
