Having never been able to subscribe to a 9-5 I have been working as a freelance creative for ten years but recently have been feeling the pull to move away from that and create a life with more stability and more freedom, ie to be able to work anywhere and not be restricted to capital cities. This is perhaps the biggest gift of crypto it allows people to be able to move their business centres to create and be rewarded for the creation without having to work to someone else’s vision. It is the hard part about being a professional photographer the art form can get lost when you end up working to someone else’s vision. I’m often booked for my work but then twisted and pulled in so many directions to fit their vision it’s nothing like the work I display on my site because it’s rare to find a client that gives a brief idea and then says I trust your vision. More often than not your picked for what you create from your soul and vision but end up so pulled you loose that essence and the result is always somewhat bland.
I always subscribe to being able to create whatever you wish for and I have no doubt there is so much abundance out there in the fashion photography world but there are so many people doing it now and willing to sell themselves for nothing it’s pretty much backfired on the entire indrustry with everyone now expecting everything for nothing because so many people have been willing to provide everything for nothing or very little for so long it has now become an industry standard. Don’t be fooled by the champagne, celebrity portfolios and holidays there are lots of freebies but building serious financial stability whilst living in the capital city as an artist is pretty tough for the majority of people. This is the exciting opportunity about steemit and crypto trading. It’s an outlet for us to find an extra chunk of stability each month and not have to sell ourselves for nothing to pay our rent and it allows us to produce from the soul and get money. I see it as a potential to have creative freedom and to be rewarded by people getting enjoyment from what you have created.
From having little interest in finance I suddenly feel really excited by trading, researching companies and investing. As warren says there is only so much you can work and when everyone wants a lot for very little one of the easiest ways to make money and be stable is to allow your money to work for you and not work for your money 💰
