This question has been making me think back and forth. What's the essence of being able to afford all the finest things and experiences in the world, but you don't have freedom to enjoy it because you're always working? Imagine being able to afford everything your family want but you don't have time to sit with them and enjoy their company. This can be so complicated and frustrating.
It's just like being a prisoner to your own success.
If I am asked to choose between freedom and wealth, I'll certainly choose freedom.
I know this might sound ridiculous, especially when I am from a country where the cost of living keeps on increasing.
After all, freedom without money can also be frustrating too.

However, I'd rather have enough to take care of my needs and the freedom to enjoy it than work all the days of my life just to make money while I become a prisoner of my own success. At least, there should be a balancing between weather and freedom.

To me, real freedom is being able to have some sort of control over my time, life and every other things.
It means being able to walk away from situations that exhaust me and also threaten my peace of mind without having to feel that I will lose everything. At least, I should be able to enjoy the things I work for.
At the end of the day, I should be the one controlling money and not the other way.

There are things that money, I mean lots of money cannot buy, so I don't have to work till I break down, and I have to use the same money I was chasing to make up for the things I sacrificed.

The aim is not to remain poor, but to have enough money to live with dignity, have enough control to over every situations without having to lose myself in the process.

thanks for stopping !
