So far, what I am doing is just staking and adding in my in-game assets, with no withdrawals since I started playing.
My current DEC is now at 29,571 or almost $167.
Aside from this, I am receiving a 6SPS per day which is now equivalent to $1.53 (see picture below)

Aside from the daily quest, you can also earn DEC by renting your owned cards. Assign your multiple cards for rentals to earn extra DEC.
What I am earning from all my blogs, I put them all as well in the game by trading SPS. Currently, my SPS staked is now at 840 or $218.
So you see, like you, I started with $10 for the spellbook.
And now my total in-game assets are at an estimated $633.37 as of this posting.
