Christmas may only be a single day on the calendar,
But it's a feeling that I carry with me all year.
The times spent with family around the tree,
Are treasured memories of acknowledging the nativity.
The lights cast a warm glow in the house and in my spirit,
While the Christmas music plays softly, just enough to hear it.
The season fills hearts with love and thanksgiving,
Reminding of hope, instilling a brand new vigor for living.
Traditions and gatherings, fellowship full of love;
Christmas inspires hope and joy that we can all partake of.
The reason for the holiday is perfectly clear --
Love enters all of our lives and is our Savior.
