I have officially done it. I fought my way to Gold III. There has been ALOT of air fist pumping alot of cursing and some sighs od relief.
I had to rent quite a few cards just to get here. Wasted alot of DEC on them rentals.
I have been struggling since day 1 with trying to pick who I wanted to focus on in terms of collecting. One day I decided to do all of the fiends, the next day I wanted packs to try my luck. Then different Legendaries such as Oshannus (he's awesome). But I can never make up my mind.
So I then decided to focus on 2 splinters that I play the most often with..
FIRE
EARTH
And one Neutral.. Uraeus
I am a huge fan of using tanks with sneak and opportunity.
With FIRE, I choose TARSA as summoner. The lineup all depends on limitations. There are 2 tanks I swap between. Living Lava and Antoid Platoon. Starting lineup is usually quite similar. Depending on the Mana restrictions, I sometimes do both tank splinters.
Spot 1/2 - Scorch Fiend / Radiated Scorcher
Spot 2/3 - Living Lava / Antoid Platoon
Spot 3/4 - Tenyii Striker / Disintegrator
Spot 4/5 - Serpentine Spy / Parasitic Growth
Spot 5/6 - Scavo Hireling / Uraeus
Alot of the times I don't stray too far from who I chose.
With EARTH, Same concept for the most part. I chooose to use Mylor Crowling as I love the Thorns ability.
Spot 1/2 - Fiend / Unicorn Mustang / Grund
Spot 2/3 - Khmer Princess / Failed Summoner
Spot 3/4 - Goblin Psychic / Uraeus
Spot 4/5 - Goblin Thief / Mycelic Slipspawn
Spot 5/6 - Venari Scout / Parasitic Growth
I don't know why I sway towards the Tanks and Sneaks and Opportunists, but I just love using them all together.
