Well.. where to begin...
I started playing maybe a month ago, if that. Didn't know much about the dynamics of Splinterlands. Saw it when googling NFT's.
Within 1 week, I had purchased the spellbook and was immediately hooked!
First full season I played, I made it from Novice, all the way to Gold 3, then lost repeatedly to Bronze 3, then finished in Silver.
I started getting the hang of it a bit after struggling and cursing at the splinter gods, begging for some sort of a break from all of the losses. That break was when I stopped trying to pull Legendary cards out of the packs (which I have always loved buying packs) and started focusing on actual strategy.
First Legendary I pulled was a lovely Gold Foil Legionnaire Alvar. But the thrill of pack opening got the best of me and I sold him off to feed my addiction.. then I won another legendary gold foil, good ol' Iza the Fanged.
Long story short.. I am back to square one, but with 2 useful (to me) legendaries.
Scorch Fiend and Djinn Oshannus. Now that I am starting to focus on parings, I am managing to stay right at the cusp of entering Silver 2, but lack of power prevents me from moving on.
What Splinter is best? What team is your "Go To"?
I am using Fire, Earth and Water the most. Heavy hitters ans Tanks with a side of sneaky pete's. Well, that's my rant and my intro (not much of one). Thanks for reading if you actually made it this far!
