The whole concept of failure holds us at our most tender inner mind- which also includes our inner sense of self-esteem. Albeit outwardly, we know that in reaching at a higher level we are assured some proportion of failure, when we become unaware about this the knowledge intelligence volunteers little or no consolation at all.
If i may ask, do we ever get affected or depressed whenever we think of this ?
"I can't do things right!"
"I was born to fail"
" I failed as a parent"
"Nothing good comes out of me"
" My marriage is nothing but a mistake"
"I give up!"
Basically, when we fail at something, we frequently ponder globally instead than in limited terms. We do not only think we failed, we see ourselves as failures. Feelings and sentiments of reprehensible drowns us down, leading to depressions, missteps, setbacks, describing us as failures instead of educating us with our previous mistakes to useful information that will move us forward.
Nevertheless, the good news is that we can build our own failures on the journey to success.
Rather than being haunted by the ghost of our failures, we can apparently learn from them. We tend to stop thinking in all-or-nothing, global ways, as a result of our own failures and mistakes tends to be a stepping stone to success instead of milestones around our neck. In other words, failure can help you grow and succeed.
So therefore, how do we feel better about ourselves when were down, below are some acts of self love that might help us;
Notwithstanding, that road to self-esteem is absolutely way to tentative and grantee's that anybody at or below the normal is not worthy to be special or successful. In most cases, self-compassion gives almost everybody the assurance that they are worthy of love anyway, with no attached conditions.
Your worth and value shouldn't be defined by failure and doubts. By all means strive to change your self-talk to from ''i am a failure'' to ''i could not get things to work out'' or simple just call them mistakes and they are nothing but stepping stones to where you are going.
At times, we still need to turn the hands of time to see the scars and injuries that's on our body to see the precious and greatness still inside us. Irrespective of how much we flop, our value remains the same and were still beautiful.
