2 Corinthians 9:7
KJV:Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Every offering given grudgingly is usually rejected by God. God is displeased with any form of offering that is not done willingly, he delights in a cheerful gi very.
In accessing our offering, God looks at the MOTIVE behind every act of giving, if anyone gives to be seen or appreciated by his/her neighbour, then such offering can never be God's own. No matter how large, any ill-gotten wealth or offering presented to God, incur wrath immediately. The quantity of your gift is not by how large but by the value attached and an up-right Heart.
Many atimes, we complain about lack but the truth of the matter is that we lack because we do not give. If a poor widow had something to offer then everyone ought to learn from her the act of giving. People remain poor because they continually hold back what should be given instead of sowing it. The Bible rightly puts, "He giveth bread to the eater and seed to the sower" if you eat tommorrow's seed today, instead of sowing, how do you hope to bread to eat?? Give your way out of poverty.
Ensure that your giving equates the blessings of the Lord over your life, keep.increasing your giving and watch him bless you irrevocably. His blessings makes rich and add no sorrow.
If you need an outstanding blessing, then give a spectacular offering.
Let God be pleased with all that you over to him, give cheerfully and with the right motive.
Shalom
