Guys, it is with great joy I write this post today, there's no cousin in this whole wide world that is happy like I am right now. My cousin from my paternal side, who's more like a big brother to me, who sponsored part of my education while growing up given he was capable, tied the knot( got married) last week Saturday. Damn... I keep screaming at the top of voice; shouting "Hallelujah and congratulations" XD.
My cousin is that kind of guy that's well reserved, mere looking at him at first sight; given you are a stranger, you will know he's a responsible lad(that's if you are way older than him) - he's the best cousin I got close to. He is easy to relate with, he is always compassionate to me, As the eldest son, he's responsible in the family, footing all the bills since he got a job. When I heard the time had come in his life, to take the flesh of his flesh and the bone of his bones to the altar, to become one in union before God, I was ecstatic, my mood was like a stallion horse leaping in the air with it front-legs folded under and hind-legs hopping around with a shout from the mouth... XD.
I know marriage is one hell of a tough journey, when one commits to it, it's a journey of no return. If one makes the wrong mistake entering the wrong bus or goes to the wrong destination then tragedy is inevitable. I know my cousin has made the right decision and choice by finding the right one. I know his marriage will stand any test and trial -- for I so much believe in him, he will be a good husband with sound judgment. Also, Having a long lasting marriage is something marital experience can teach newly weds, I don't have the experience, I'm still a lad in his earlier twenties. But I know my cousin's parent and marital counsellor did their jobs well.
Guess what? It's time for pictures, yaay. Time to show you all how it went down on that eventful day. I was impressed with the occasion. Both family and friends made sure the occasion was in grand style.
