After schooling in polytechnic for two years I did my I.T that is industrial training for a year, I did it in an eatery where I worked as a waitress, the manager was happy with my services then he promoted me to another department where I worked in an ice-cream shop he also increase my salary A bit to what I was been paid before...I was happy because the place is beautiful with Air condition at least with that one can cool of with the harsh sunny weather in the north (Nigeria).

the environment is so beautiful decorated with beautiful garden flowers even his Mansion at home is amazingly beautiful indeed he has a good taste the first day I went to his house to make ice cream for his wife because she loves ice cream alot, I couldn't believe my eye I never knew is house is as beautiful as the eatery that students do come there a lot to snap pictures despite the place is a local area, because we live in one of the local government area of the state but my boss love good things alot...his Mansion and eatery are well furnished, he is rich so achieving his taste wouldn't be a problem since he's up to the task apart from that he is also a nice man who love neatness to the core.
The workers at the eatery we all relate well like family we laughed, joke and make merry... it was simple and peaceful. One fateful day an idea was brought from one of the staffs she suggested that since we work together and relate well with each other she suggested we can save up for the future by contributing every month through our monthly salaries she suggested five thousand for each month per person, I was not in support of the idea because the salaries are barely enough to take care of our needs...she kept encouraging and convincing me that I can do it and before I knew it I would have saved up alot of money by the end of the year, I calculated the money five thousand for a year that will be much I was impressed too so I decided to join even though I know is was going to be difficult for me, my salary then was really not enough to cater for my needs and I do support my mom financially but with the monthly savings I can't do that anymore...but I thought within myself the turnout will be great after all and I decided to give it a try since I was having it difficult to save up on my own at least that will help alot and moreover I trusted them so much. so I started the savings with them by giving them five thousand every month initially I did some online business I was still hoping it will pay off soon before they brought the idea of saving every month.
So I continue saving every month just about the year would come to an end there was an outbreak of a pandemic called coronavirus due to the fear of the spread of the disease the eatery was shutdown till further notice. So I told them to give me back my money since we all are traveling to our respective places, the woman who brought the idea said the shutting down of the eatery is just temporary moreover is not year end yet for the general collection of all the savings but I rejected the idea and asked for my money back but she kept convincing and assured me we are coming back to finish what we started. After months the eatery was not making any plans of reopening again, I kept calling for them to send back my money they kept giving me stories upon stories since 2020 of the outbreak till now 2023 this is 3 years now nothing was heard of them and I couldn't see them or my money...
Is really hurting and I feel so sad anytime I remember that, I kept blaming myself for trusting the wrong people. I wish I never joined that contribution and the online business too I never heard anything about them again, that was my first time in all this and I was betrayed.
