It has been nine years since my last operation with the Sacred Eyes group before we separated. The Sacred Eyes are a group of thieves, who find pleasure in stealing high-value objects from the museum or safe vault. Objects that are worth a fortune, because of how old, and historical factors it plays in the world. The Sacred Eyes are made of three skillful ladies and three men.
Jacie, a chubby lady who mastered the craft of unlocking any kind of safe lock in less than thirty minutes. Sonia, a young teenager, maybe nineteen, her ebony beauty is compelling, her fingers are our jackpot. She can bypass any firewall, hack into any security system. She's the best at what she does. Others find it amazing in blowing things up, burning things down as it gives them unexplainable pleasure. A pleasure one can't understand, and that person is Jung Sun, a mixed-blood Asian American with dark thoughts. Weapons are always important tools in our operations, serving for safety, and Joko is our weapon dealer. A team without planning and strategies will be a waste of time and endangering the mission. But with Gina, every loophole is covered because she is the leader. While my money funds the organization.
After the last operation, we made away with six Golden caskets, they were as small as a mobile phone. But worth fifteen million dollars each in the black market. So we agreed to share the casket individually and move on with our lives, but something happened that brought us back.
Gina found a good buyer, someone who was ready to buy the casket twice the price in the black market. Why? Because one of the caskets had some hidden printed names of London rogue agents and their locations, which was unknown to us. So the buyer was ready to do anything to get his hands on those caskets.
We all gathered at Gina's house. A cold Island located at Nantucket, Massachusetts. A place with a quiet and peaceful place where no one can ever find you. As we all arrived her Butler, alongside security men instructed us to drop our weapons and walk inside armless, although we tried to resist, we gave in. The interior designs were mind-blowing like it was made for an angel, and that angel called out my name.
"Ray…"
I slowly turned. As my eyes suddenly spotted Gina. I was amazed to see how beautiful Gina was. Her blue eyes sent a cold shiver to my skin, as she let out a peaceful smile. She walked towards me and smiled again.
"Oh, Ray it's been a while." She said.
"Yes Gina, Time is an unbeatable entity. " I chuckled. Then she moved closer to me, placing her right hand on my cheek, holding the glass of champagne in her left hand, then she kissed me passionately, I couldn't resist because I knew I needed it. I missed her.
"Hmmm, it seems someone has been having secret feelings." She said as she took her glass of champagne and made a little strike with a spoon from the table next to me, which drew the attention of everyone in the room.
"Hello everyone, it's been an honor to have you all here after a long time. Today we drink and celebrate, then tonight we discussed business. Cheers to a successful deal ahead." she smiled, raising her glass over her head.
"Cheers… " we all shouted.
That night we all gathered in a private room at a big round table, as we sat according to our ranks. Then Gina gave an opening speech. Explaining the reason for the sudden reunion.
"Am sure, you'll are curious to know the reason of this gathering. Well, I was able to finalize a good deal for us all. Someone is ready to buy The Golden Casket twice the price in the black market. A clear deal. Only if we'll agree."
The decision Gina took causing murmuring among us. Why should she move such a move without our approval? Then I stood to give my support to Gina's idea, which others followed. Afterward, we decided to submit the caskets, placing them according to their sizes. Slowly, we placed them on the big round table, except the last one, which was the smallest one. The holder was Jung sun. He walked towards the table, holding the smallest golden casket in his hands, just as he placed his casket on the table, a droplet of blood fell out his nose.
"Jung, your bleeding." I freaked out.
He halted, then slowly placed his right palm at his nose and found blood. Out of shock. He walked backward, losing his steps, but trying to gain his grounds. But couldn't, then he collapsed to the floor and didn't move again. At that moment, we were petrified and perplexed. As everyone were shouting and blaming each other. Then i said to myself. "This is a trap."
