True, our African tradition had made the birth of female in a family without a male offspring is a sin. That's totally wrong. I am glad the decision the father made towards sending his daughter to the University to seek knowledge. That knowledge she acquired has changed and break the traditional mentality of the people.

This story tells more about West Africa (Nigerian, Eastern region).

Women right now are changing the world positively, they are not meant to be kept in the kitchen. No. They have right to express their self and not to be neglected.
