Here's another Nickelodeon themed illustration, based off one of my favorite characters, Rocko!
This one started as a rough digital sketch, which I then drew with the pen tool. I don't do a lot of vector-based artwork, as I find it to be much more time consuming. Happy with how this one turned out though.
I'm super excited for the new tv movie Nick is putting out later this year, but I'm also a little worried that the creator is relying too much on gimmicky "WHOA we're in the future!!! IPHONE'S! DUBSTEP! ENERGY DRINKS!!!" as the trailer is eluding to...
It looks great! They kept the same hand-drawn aesthetic, which is what I was worried about them changing. Hopefully the spirit of the show remains intact after 25 years...we'll see!
