As we walk through the forest, here in Cranbrook, British Columbia, careful not to step on one of these giant fallen acorns! As cool as they may be, you don’t want to twist your ankle. Anyways, it is only one of the small “perils” to avoid while out and about on the trails. The real perils to be concerned about would be a wild animal encounter or even an aggressive dog off leash.
