Happy new month guys ! It seems the year is moving so fast , indeed time waits for no one . Talking about time , I remember my first time hearing about Hive .
At first I could not just wrap my head round the platform's concept and all what it entails because I couldn't just believe something of this nature actually existed. I mean earning crypto just by writing , creating and engaging contents wasn't something I thought existed until I learnt about Hive and actually got onboarded properly.
These days when people ask what I do , I'm quick to to wear a sarcastic smile on my face . I'm sure you're betting to ask me why , I'll tell you . I do that because I'm sure they won't understand what I do at first glance and might think if it's really worth it and put foods on the table.
I tell people who care to ask what I do, I create and engage different contents on a decentralized crypto blockchain platform called Hive blog. People who are inquisitive tend to ask me what Hive is really all about and I do not hesitate to explain to them how the platform works .
These days I'm quick to preach the good gospel of Hive to anyone I'm close with or have an affliation with because I see the platform as a genuine legal and pleasant avenue to make a passive income even if you have other things you're involved in . For me, Hive is not just a passive income earning avenue for me , I take it as my nomenclature.
I'm an energy person, what I get is what I give . As I was onboarded to this platform by a good friend of mine , I made up my mind to also do the same for anyone who cared to joined Hive and take massive advantage of the many opportunities it exudes .
When last did you tell or onboard someone on Hive? . While you ponder on that I'll briefly tell you how I got my friend to sign up on Hive after so many attempts. A big shout-out to him though, 
It all started last year when I joined Hive and I was really fascinated with the whole idea . I couldn't just wait to tell anybody close to me who cared to listen what Hive entails and how it can change our financial literacy lives for the better .
My friend has a thing for writing which I'm quite aware of . I suggested Hive to him and he saw a meaning to all what I was saying about the blockchain platform. He was eager to join , which I encouraged him to do . Anyway, one thing led to the other and we both went our different ways as he relocated.
When we got sight on each other early this year , I asked him if he was on Hive now and if he was active as well . To my greatest surprise he said he hasn't join because he was finding it difficult to sign up on Hive . According to him, he was looking for a perfect time for us to meet so I could assist him with the signing up .
On hearing this, I was glad to help . I mean what are friends for ? . We fixed a meet up and I showed him how he could sign up . We used peakd in signing him up actually. I explained the importance of his keys to him and adviced him to always keep his keys safe and protected .
I also suggested communities / tribes he could join and subscribe to if he's looking for quality contents to read and engage with . I encouraged him to take his time and carefully navigate through the platform and understand what the platform really entails.
I felt elated giving him some Hive power to help him start his Hive journey. I mean this was I started , so it will only be fair to do the same to incoming members of the Hive community. Now, my friend is on Hive having the Hive experience and I'm sure if he's consistent , the sky is just the stepping stone for him .
Remember, the key to spreading the word about Hive is to be passionate and authentic. Talk about what you love about the platform, and why you think others should join.
