The Mutanthouse Project 2.0

The Mutant house project was a project I created in 2007. the idea was to transform my small animal sanctuary into a small self sustaining vegan micro community. With community outreach, a school a food and cloths bank as well as a job and skill bank. We wanted to teach our selves and others to become as energy and food independent as possible in, to raise life quality and save animals while doing so. Sadly I got sick and in 2013 my deteriorating heath made it impossible for me to sustain the project and the other human residents had struggles of their own. We disbanded and I lost the property to foreclosure.

I moved to nangijala house (my current little house ) and tried to survive with the 15 left over permanent non human residents of mutant house. years passed and my health got even worse and i feel into deep dark depression that seemed to fester in my soul.

Fast forward to now Traditional medicine is basically just keeping me alive, they made very clear that because I am on disability and medicaid that anything outside of symptom management is not going to happen I am mostly on my own.

So I have choices to make i can keep on living in my little house that is falling apart with it’s leaky roof and other issues and die or I can claw myself out of this depression and start fighting.

Fact it that politicians will do nothing for us or at best the bare minimum. They are in most cases Corporate puppets who thrive off of bleeding the rest of us dry. Our planet is dying, the future is pretty bleak at this point. If we wait for politicians to save us nothing will happen.

There is no hero coming we need to be our own hero. Live by example and hope others will follow. If we teach each other how to become food and energy independent. If we create alternate trade and barter systems , if we work in micro communities and then create global networks of these micro communities we might have a chance for real change. So in that vein I have decided to revive The mutant house project as a community project.

I will start with my house and a series on my hive blog to share ideas and show my personal progress and go from there . I am done dying for the convenience of a society that does not give a fuck . If i fail I fail but at least I will die trying so here is the seed of Mutant house 2.0
