I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

One thing that I love to do is to teach significant and useful things that I've learned, and across many domains and subjects; to bring greater awareness, understanding, and capability to people that was not present before. This is almost always in a more personal, informal, and unofficial manner, on my own terms, and in my own way. I've rarely had interest in any kind of official teaching positions, as to me such contexts are far too limiting, and I also refuse to regurgitate any 'offcicial narratives' with which I do not agree, so I am poor at 'being managed'. So most of my educating and teaching is shared in my daily life, as topics or questions arise in conversation.

I'm pretty good at clearly explaining things to people, even complex information, in a way that they are able to easily understand, whether in spoken or written form. On Hive I've helped a fair number of people to understand and do various things that were a mystery to them before, for which I'm super grateful. In my almost two and a quarter years on Hive I've learned a great deal, and from that base of understanding I've written a few guides and tutorials on various aspects of Hive and its functioning. When I see clearly that greater understanding is needed in a particular area, l'll write a guide or tutorial about it.

Lately I've been considering other possible useful guides and tutorials that I could write for people. Given that I'm active on three different sovereignty-driven blockchains, the idea came up to perhaps create some guides/tutorials on the other two, aside from Hive, Bastyon and Qortal. Writing guides/tutorials for Bastyon would be a lot easier and quicker than doing so for Qortal, as Qortal is a very different animal, with a whole lot going on behind its quirky name. I think that making an effort to write about these Allied Blockchain Nations is very important, however, as people should know about them.

What other Hive guides and tutorials would you find useful? I'd love to hear about it in the comments!

When there is something that I don't yet understand about Hive, the first thing that I do is to do some searches for guides or tutorials on the subject of my curiosity. I've learned so much from those that I've found, and I very much want to return the favor, to help bring more understanding to everyone about our exceptional Blockchain. The more we know, and the more we understand, the more we are capable of doing, which makes the whole Ecosystem stronger.

Yesterday, Wednesday, I left the Flow House around 3PM, after wrapping up my afternoon round of essential Hive tasks. Since I took all the photos for this post in the morning, I didn't have to do so in afternoon, allowing me to jump right into land work, the first focus of which was collecting two wheelbarrows full of Melochia leaves and cane grass for cow-milking food. With that finished, I went to Ano's nursery to do some paid bamboo propagation, which I did until just before sunset.

After working, I took a shower, strained out kefir for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, made myself food, got food for my kitty friend, and then I headed back to the Flow House to jump into my evening round of Hive tasks and catching up on my notifications, which I was able to complete just before 10:30PM. I did a short round of token management, then I went to bed. Sadly I woke up at 2AM and couldn't get back to sleep, so I did a few assorted Hive tasks, some more token management, as well as a bit of perusing my feed on Bastyon and X, before making another attempt at sleep. I wasn't very successful, and I got out of bed around 7:30AM to go make my superfood fire coffee.

Last night a storm front came in from the north, with lots of rain, and much cooler temperatures. Unfortunately the Flow House, being the open-air bamboo yurt under a tarp roof that it is, got quite soggy along the edges again, and my bed unfortunately also got wet again from a leak in the tarp just above it, much to my intense chagrin. I've got to repair that ASAP, and I need to find and secure tarps along the sides that tend to get wet.

I attended the community NVC meeting this morning, until Iolanthe (Ano and Melekai's 11-year-old daughter) wanted me to go with her to Tutu's to show me the Christmas tree that she had decorated last night, and to make her a little food. I returned to the Flow House a little after 11AM to write this post.

The time is just after 1:15AM, so it's a good time to end this post now, so that I can get to my afternoon round of essential Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House in the later afternoon to take photos for tomorrow's iteration of this post, and to focus on land work. I deeply appreciate you all very much! Until tomorrow! Onward and upward, joyfully together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
